You Want Your Dumped Boyfriend Back? Here's What You Can Do

So you were dating a guy you really liked and then one day you noticed a tiny little issue about him that you didn't really like and you dumped boyfriend! Just like that! Out of the blue! But have you really dug down deep to try and understand why you wound up with a dumped boyfriend?

Perhaps you've told yourself that it was the way he ate his food? Or the way he laughed or perhaps even something as earth shattering as the way that he walked? Whatever it was that made you turn around and end up with a dumped boyfriend, boy are you regretting it now because now, you want him back. But here's the thing he wants nothing to do with you and everything that you've tried so far to get him back, as failed.

Well, have you tried just leaving him alone for a while? Because pretty much you've hurt his feelings big time and he's doubtless feeling humiliated. If you've been calling him 24/7 and he's just not picking up, then that's a clear indication that he needs you to leave him alone.
So instead of bombarding him with text messages and calls, give him some space and take a look at the real hidden reasons that might have caused you to wake up one morning with a dumped boyfriend.
Truth is some girls have been known to 'test' the relationship by ending it to see if their boyfriends will put up a fight for them and the relationship. If this is what you did, then this is basically flawed behavior. Not only that, ask yourself why you would even want to put someone who you clearly have feelings for through the upset of a breakup?

Usually anyone who tries to manipulate someone to this extreme has deep rooted self-esteem issues that they should really think about working out. Your self-esteem is really the inner you. If you are suffering from low self-esteem then the little voice in your head often shouts negativity at you and tells you that you are just not good enough. Take the time to address this and you will be far happier.
To win back a dumped boyfriend you're going to have to clearly work on yourself. No self-respecting boyfriend wants to be around someone who is high maintenance and doesn't know her own mind. In future, make sure you're one hundred per cent sure about what you are doing and why you are doing it.

Instead of dumping the guy, why not sit and talk to him about your fears and your insecurities. He will think more of you if you are honest with him, rather than if you simply lash out on a whim and dump him for what appears to be no good reason.

So reflect and get a plan.

If you haven't already done so, you should talk to your spouse. Find out what they think of the situation and if they believe there is anything worth saving of the marriage. With any luck you both agree that you both want to save your marriage and you decide to go forward together.

You are then faced with either trying to figure things out on your own, going for marriage counseling or searching online for one of the many ebooks that are available and that will answer your question “what can I do to save my marriage?”

If you opt for marriage counseling you should consider that this process can be long, expensive and you really have to be prepared to open yourself and your marriage up to an outside third party. Not only that, you have to be lucky enough to find a therapist who will gel with you and your spouse in order for the process to work really well.

You could both try to work things out between on your own and sometimes this can work really well. However, you should be aware that you do run the risk of making things worse because you might not be entirely sure what you're doing or how to go about it. Not only that, you and your spouse will naturally take your corners and hold onto positions that you have, whether they are right or they are wrong. It's human nature to protect yourself and that might not always be the right way for you to go forward to find ways “to save my marriage.”

The other alternative is to use one of the many ebooks that are online. This can really be a break through choice for a lot of couples because it usually involves going at your own pace, paying a one off fee and getting step by step practical guidance about how to really save the marriage.

Without a doubt it is always easier to have your spouse on your side and the two of you rooting for the marriage, but choosing the right resource to save the union is also crucial!

Do Not Wait -- How To Get Over Someone Fast

When a relationship ends, especially if you're not the one who ended it, how to get over someone becomes very important. It’s not always easy to get over a person you’ve been with, though. If you’ve been with that person for a very long time it’s even harder. It might be pretty easy to get over a relationship that’s lasted 3 months. But if you've been with someone for 3 years, it's hard to get over that person at all, let alone get over them quickly. Fortunately, there are some things you can do to speed up the process.
When you're wondering how to get over someone, sit in a chair in your living room or bedroom, wherever there’s a very strong sense of the other person. Remove anything that reminds you of that person a great deal. This isn't always easy to do, but every little bit helps. If you've bought a dog together, for instance, of course you won’t want to get rid of the dog. But anything your ex bought for you that’s on display like a knick-knack or something hanging on the wall would be a good thing to remove for a while.

If you have lots of things that will remind you of your ex, you're probably wondering how to get over someone without making your rooms completely bare. But even if you picked out practically everything together, you don’t have to remove everything to make this work. Just choose items that have particularly strong memories.

Maybe you picked out the couch together, but it's one of the throw pillows that you bought or the figurine on the end table he or she gave you as a gift that seems to make you feel sad when you look at it. Remove those items and store them for a while, just to make things easier on you.

If you’re having a really hard time and feel that you can handle it, you can think of all your ex’s bad qualities. Of all the methods of how to get over someone, this is the one where you actually think of your ex the most, so if just the very thought of them brings you to tears you might not be ready for this step. Think of the things you disliked the most about them. If you can’t thing of anything, just move on. But most of us can come up with a long list of things we dislike about someone, especially if they were the ones to end the relationship.

A popular method of how to get over someone is to simply start dating again. Many people balk at this idea—they think they still love the ex and aren’t ready. You can do this even if you’re still in love with your ex. No one says you have to fall in love anytime soon. But dating or even going out with friends isn’t just how to get over someone, it’s how to keep from feeling sorry for yourself while you try.

Discover How to Get Your Ex Back in These 4 Easy Steps

Almost everyone in their life has had to go through a breakup. A breakup is a strange thing. Most things in life, the more you do them, the easier it becomes to do. With breakups no matter how many you've had to go through in the past, they certainly don't become easier to go through.

After a breakup, unless the relationship was completely terrible, most people desire to get your ex back. In fact, sometimes, even if the relationship was unhealthy, they still desire to get your ex back. You really shouldn't try to get back with your ex if they ever used physical violence or words to hurt you. That is not a healthy relationship. If you were in a relationship like that and your ex broke up with you, then consider yourself lucky.

Otherwise, most relationships follow a pretty predictable pattern. When you first meet someone everything is wonderful and new. They can do no wrong and you can do no wrong in their eyes. After a short while comfort sets in. You adjust to each other. When the newness is gone and the comfort is there, things in the relationship change. The little quirks you were willing to overlook before actually bother you now.

There is an expression: “Familiarity breeds contempt.” Truer words couldn't be spoken for relationships. After a couple gets comfortable and familiar with each other, trouble usually starts. This is exactly what tests the strength of the relationship. It takes work and effort to maintain a relationship. Sometimes, when things break, instead of getting repaired, the other person wants out of the relationship completely.

Do you believe, despite it being over, your relationship is worth salvaging, even if the other person made it clear, it's over? You need some answers on how get your ex back.

Here are four steps you can take to get your ex back

• Say you're sorry

Saying you are sorry is one of the best how get your ex back methods. Even if it doesn't get your ex back, it's usually the best first step. Be sure that you say sorry for the right reasons. After a breakup it can be easy to blame yourself for everything. Remember, it takes two people to have a successful relationship. Knowing what exactly to apologize for is critical.

Whatever you do, when you apologize don't let your ex bait you into an argument. The biggest irony of saying sorry to an ex is that it can easily lead to another fight. If you say you're sorry, and your ex brings something else up, don't get defensive. Stay calm, keep your emotions, your ego, and your pride in check.

• Talk things out

If your ex is up to it, set a time where both of you can sit down and talk. Whatever you don't beg, plead, cry, or force your ex into this. If they don't want to, then just go to the next step. If they do agree, you're going to have to keep your emotions in check. This isn't the time to get into a fight again. Make it clear to your ex that you have no desire to bring blame into the discussion.

You want to talk about the issues objectively. If you talk strictly about the issues without assigning blame, you'll get better results. It is best if you can get a therapist or an expert in the field of relationships involved with this, if at all possible.

• Give some space

This may seem counter-intuitive to how get your ex back. You have to remember just because you want to talk to them or see them, doesn't mean they do. It is crucial to allow the partner some space. A brief time away from each other, before you try to win them back, will give you both time to cool down and a chance for them to miss you. If you're in touch with them all the time, they won't be able to miss you.

• Show them you care about yourself

Prove to them that you care about yourself. If you seem desperate, clingy, and whiny, you will not succeed. If you sit around the house waiting for them to call or keep checking your email every few minutes hoping to get their message, you're not doing yourself any favors. Hang out with friends. Go to movies, go to concerts, go to the mall. Whatever, just get up and get out and live your life.
It's best if you're not there when your ex calls. Then they'll be wondering what you're doing. If you're out and your cell rings and its your ex, don't answer it. Let the call go to voice mail. The best thing to do is wait until the next day to call them back. Tell them you were busy, and you didn't have time to call them back. This will probably shock them. You may even be able to get them to pursue you again.

Can You and Your Ex Get Back Together?

If you truly want to get back together with your ex, you have to do a bit of soul searching. You must be totally honest with yourself. You have to decide if you and your ex get back together it will truly make you happy, and you won't wind up down the same road that caused the breakup in the first place. It's always easy after a breakup to only think of the good times. It's important that you try to be completely objective and think of both the good and bad times.
In reality, there are a few relationships that are unworthy of saving.

If you and your ex spent more time fighting than you did doing something good and fun, then perhaps you should consider moving on. If they were physically or verbally abusive, it probably wasn't a healthy relationship. If they were mentally unstable, you probably are better off without them. If the relationship overall was a good one, and they weren't abusive, and they were of sound mind, the following should help you and your ex get back together.

Pestering and pushing your ex isn't a good idea

If you try to constantly get in touch with your ex; whether it's by phone, email, text message, or stalking them you're going to do more harm than good. They will see this as a sign of desperation. This could actually push them further away than bring them closer to you.

Don't argue, beg, or plead with your ex about your past relationship

It's easy when you and your mind are all alone. Your mind manifests all sorts of “wrongs” that you may have done. Even when your ex broke up with you they may have gave you reasons why. Now, you're probably beating yourself up over them. You probably wish you had never done those things. The past is the past. This is the present.
You can't go back in time, though you probably wish you could. Concentrate on what is going on now. The only thing worse than obsessively contacting your ex is to beg or plead with them.

Making promises how you'll change, etc, won't help you and your ex get back together

If you back off, give them some time, and live your life, you'll be doing yourself a big favor in more ways than one. You'll probably become more desirable to your ex, because you're allowing them to think about you and miss you. You'll also be helping yourself to live a happier, more fulfilling life too.

Can I Save My Marriage – Its Up To You

It is depressing to see many marriages that are in turmoil, and it is especially disconcerting to see them end up as messy divorces, so you may ask how can I save my marriage?
Filing for divorce is not the solution for when a marriage has hit its pushing limits. There are a number of solutions that require that both partners to be fully committed in saving the relationship that they have. The first step is counseling, which enables the couple to have a mediator in dealing with their issues.

In addition to professional services, there are a number of different things that can be done to save a marriage, it is not a complicated process and does not require much outside of both parties working towards the common goal. Below are four things that you can take to heart and utilize to "save my marriage" and improve the odds of successfully avoiding divorce.

First, know that the perfect marriage is a myth.

Whenever two people are brought together, there will be problems, including the few that can grow into deal breakers in your marriage. This is a natural result of bringing two people together. Even perfect twins differ in likes and dislikes. For the marriage to succeed, the couple must learn to deal with the rough patches and overcome their problems. Seeking perfection will only destroy everything. People make mistakes, work with your partner and overcome the problems you face, and you'll realize it is possible to "save my marriage."
Second, good communication is vital.

When the communication is insufficient; the marriage is doomed to face problems. The most vital thing is to be honest with your partner. Just about every issue and problem can be solved if communication is maintained.

Third, accept compromise.

Many have made this an art, with good reason. The middle ground that will enable a conclusion to the conflict has to mesh with both parties and their interests before it can "save my marriage." Marriage on a whole is about compromise and knowing that there are times when your spouse will have to give and times when you have to give in order to "save my marriage."

Fourth, a marriage is about commitment.

Like a car, if it breaks down, you don't abandon the car on the side of the road. The only time you do get rid of the car is when there is no hope. Saving your marriage involves the same level of commitment and working towards making things work, if you ever have a chance to "save my marriage."

Sometimes, the damage to the marriage totals it, and no matter what you do, nothing can change it. Some issues cannot be solved, counseling cannot help. It is in these cases that divorce makes sense. Out side of these cases, divorce is not the answer. Instead, you should work with your partner to solve the issues that plague your marriage, and hopefully you will be able to say that you can "save my marriage."

Can I Get My Ex Girlfriend Back

If you’re wondering, “Can I get my ex girlfriend back?” then the breakup probably wasn’t so devastating that you think the relationship can’t be saved. You’ll have to hope she feels the same way. If any hurt was caused during the split that you should apologize for, now’s the time to say you’re sorry. Being sorry and sincerely showing it is a good first step.
  • Can I get my ex girlfriend back by showing my sensitive side?
Well, there’s no guarantee you’ll get back together, but the odds tilt more and more in your favor when you do things right. Show her how much you miss her, and how sorry you are. Just pay attention to what she does. If your gestures of sorrow only make her angry—she throws away the roses or something dramatic like that, for example—change your tactics until you find that something she responds to.

If flowers or cards frustrate her, for example, maybe that’s because it’s easy to pick up the phone and order flowers or buy a card someone else wrote. Try putting yourself in her shoes and try to figure out something more appealing. Buy a blank card and write your own verse in it. It doesn’t have to rhyme, in fact it’s better if it doesn’t. Try to honestly express how you feel. Or pick flowers and present her with a bouquet you put together yourself.

A common complaint among women is that men aren’t thoughtful. Were you thoughtful during the relationship? Now you might be wondering, can I get my ex girlfriend back by being thoughtful? Not necessarily, but it’s one more step toward your goal of getting her back. Every positive thing stacks up, making it easier and easier for her to come back to you. Don’t expect things to happen right away, though.

If you spent your relationship rarely doing thoughtful things, or you only did them in the beginning, she’ll probably doubt the things you do now. Just be patient, and keep up your efforts. Don’t appear frustrated or angry. Do the thoughtful things because it feels good to make her happy, not because you’re working toward a goal.
  • Can I get my ex girlfriend back by dating other women?
If it’s been a long time since the breakup, and you’re still working on being thoughtful, a casual date seems harmless and may make her wish she was your date, but go too far and it could backfire.

  • Can I get my ex girlfriend back if she has a boyfriend?
The odds are against it, but if you can show her that she’ll be happier with you than the new boyfriend you’ll have a good chance. Being thoughtful will go a long way toward showing her that. Even if it seems hopeless, don’t give up.

If it appears she’s moved on, still send her a card you wrote just wishing her a great week. But don’t look as if you have any expectations. Your thoughtfulness might really impress her.

One other thing you should know, my friend, is that the points made above are just one step in the equation of getting your true love back. The important thing is to have a step by step plan that will lead you in your heartfelt pursuit.

Frankly, that's what I did when my true love dumped me. I followed a plan authored by T 'Dub' Jackson.

When my cause was almost hopeless and I was dieing inside, it hauled me up by my bootstraps and helped me get my life's love back.

It's called "The Magic of Making Up" and you can check it out at: http://you-can-get-back-together.info/

Best Seller Books on Relationships May Make a Fool of You

If your ex has just broken up with you, you may be in the marketplace for books on relationships. But how do you choose the best books on relationships among the many offerings out there?

In this article, I will show you how to choose the best books on relationships. And the answer will surprise you. Read on…

First, don’t be fooled by fancy letters after an author’s name. There are many people who find school to be a convenient escape from real life. Instead of engaging with people, they spend their time in the classroom and library. As a result, they end up with a lot of letters after their names when they hit age 35. They use their degrees to indicate that they have “expert knowledge” of a situation. But does their expertise work in the real world?

Instead, you should look for books on relationships by authors who have been in the trenches. They’ve either put a bad relationship back together themselves or they have helped countless buddies do the same. These aren’t therapy patients that come in for the “fifty minute hour” either. These relationships are those of people the author cares deeply about.

Next, you want to find books that don’t boil down to “put the relationship aside for 30 days and work on yourself during that period.” This is all most “save your relationship” or “get your ex back” reports say. Many of the ebooks on the market turn that concept into 50 page documents. These are just pieces of fluff and don’t deserve your attention – or your money.

Instead, you should look for a book that will give you new information; information that you’re friends can’t give you.

For instance, will the book tell you what women crave the most? Will it give you a step by step guide for how to give it to her? Will the book show you how to recover from an affair? Will it give you specific techniques to get relief from your pain?

Finally, look at who is recommending the book. Do the testimonials seem a little generic? Were they written by the author’s brother and second cousin?

You want to find books on relationships that come recommended by a wide variety of people, in various situations, from all walks of life. If it looks like both a guy from England and a newly engaged woman from Kansas have used the book, chances are it will work for you.

There are many books on relationships on the market. Unfortunately, most of them are drivel because they weren’t written by someone in the trenches. As a result, they have generic advice that could be best summed up in a paragraph or two. Then, what recommendations the book can get are generic in nature, because the book really has nothing going for it.

Finding the best books on relationships can take a little work. But, everything about relationships is work. Shouldn’t you invest the time and money in the very best book out there?

Your Break Up Is Over and You're Moving on -- Here's How You Can Do It

Getting through a break up with someone you loved or may even still be in love with is always difficult. However, if your relationship had deteriorated into an extremely unhappy situation, you're probably relieved to put it behind you, make changes in your life and move on.

A break up can disrupt your entire life. Everything around you and everything you do can remind you of your ex. It may even be difficult to seek comfort and enjoyment with your friends if you and your ex traveled in the same crowd.

  • How do you deal with your family?
A huge hurdle you must deal with when you move on is the reaction of your family and friends. If your family cared for your ex, they'll probably suffocate you with questions concerning your break up. They'll want to know what happened between you and your ex, why you can't reconcile your differences and why you're moving on.

You'll have to set them straight that the break up is final and you don’t want questions or reminders from them concerning your ex and what you two formerly had together.

Some family members might have a tough time accepting your break up because they want you both to reunite. You must stay firm and tell them that the break up is over, you're moving on and that's the way it is.

Eventually it will all sink in and your family will understand.

  • How do you deal with your mutual friends?
Your mutual friends, at first, may also have a tough time understanding and accepting that you and your ex have split. They may even be harder to convince than your family.

If you and your ex mingled closely with the same group of people, it's going to be strange for a while when you show up alone or with another person.

Your ex might continue to hang out with this same group as you. You could even bump into each other when you both seek comfort with your mutual acquaintances. This doesn’t mean, when you're moving on, that you must lose your good friends. But it will be difficult to maintain some friendships after you and your ex have split.

Actually, you might have to give up some of those friendships for a while or even for good. You and your ex may have to choose between certain mutual friends.

The important thing is to maintain solid contact with only your own closest friends while your ex does the same. This might be a difficult move for you, but it's far and away the easiest on everyone else. It does not force your friends to choose who they're going to stick with and who they must avoid.

  • Change your surroundings
For some people struggling to move on and reorganize their lives after a break up, the period after the split is just too difficult to deal with if they remain close to mutual friends and formerly happy surroundings. Under these circumstances, get away. Try to take a vacation with an uninvolved friend. This separation can give you some perspective on what you've gone through and how you can move on.

Experiencing the actual break up is only the first part of severing ties with your ex. During the next difficult phase after you've determined you're break up is final and you're moving on, you must create a new life for yourself. Taking time away to regroup and contemplate can help you a great deal.

Stop a Love Break Up -- Learn the Signs to Prevent a Love Break Up

All of us know how painful it is to have your love break up on you. And what makes it more painful, when you look back after the relationship has ended, I bet you can see all the signs of a break up that you couldn't see or recognize at the time.

So if you remember those signs and remain aware when you see them again, you can immediately take steps to prevent a break up in the future. Knowing these signs can also help you reconnect after a split.
  • Lack of physical contact
One true indication of an impending love break up is the lack of physical contact. I don't just mean sex. If your partner suddenly looses interest in sex, it's true that a break up could be coming. However, a relationship's normal flow and rhythm includes time filled with lots of sex and times when the togetherness slows down. This is natural.

  • Fading desire for physical contact
Prepare for a love break up if your partner's affection seems to fade and he/she shows it by no longer wanting to hold your hand. The same is true for when he/she no longer puts an arm across your shoulders when you're walking together or at the movies like he/she always did before.
Any sudden changes, such as the lack of desire for contact outside the bedroom at times when your partner was always very affectionate, could signal problems

If you see it going beyond a lack of touching to your partner actually becoming uncomfortable when your touch him/her, then you must have a conversation with your partner to determine what’s going on.

  • Don't take it all personally
But, don’t assume just because your partner moves away from your touch that you're about to experience a love break up. A person might not want to be touched at any particular moment due to many different reasons.

He/she might be concentrating on something and is surprised or startled by your touch. Also if you’re not very affectionate except when you want to be intimate, he/she might connect your touch with your desire to have sex. If your partner isn’t in the mood, he/she could be expressing their feelings by moving away from you. That doesn’t mean a love break up is in the cards.

Your partner just might not feel good physically. Every small change in a person’s behavior doesn’t imply a possible love break up or even a relationship problem. You must become familiar with your partner's actions to determine if certain behaviors are occasional and only takes place at certain times for very specific reasons, or if they're a permanent part of their make up.

  • Watch out for lies
If you know your partner is telling lies, even if these lies appear small and harmless, this also could be a sign of problems. If a lie is small and harmless, why must a person tell it at all?

When one tiny lie is told, there's a chance that larger, damaging lies will follow. But don’t be alarmed that such lies signal an imminent love break up. People tell lies about many things that aren’t necessarily bad, such as being evasive about a surprise party or surprise gift. Your partner might be hiding a harmless and enjoyable secret, and not at all considering a love break up.

How To Keep a Woman Happy -- 10 Way to Keep a Woman Happy

Most men would like to know how to keep a woman happy. If you're one of them, follow these ten solid pieces of advice on relationships for men.

• The first piece of advice on relationships is to always be yourself

Many men don’t feel they have what it takes to attract a beautiful, sexy woman, so they put on a phony show. But self confidence can make a man the sexiest guy in the room.

Have you noticed that the least physically attractive guys often have the prettiest women at their side? That's because they generate an aura of confidence more attractive to women than physical looks.

• Do little things that count big

You'll score big points by doing unexpected acts of caring like getting her car inspected or occasionally surprising her with a sampling of her favorite dark chocolate. Men usually think in terms of “grand gestures,” but it's the small gestures that stack up to create long relationships.

• Never take her for granted

Continually let her know how much you value her as a person and for your relationship together.

• Don't stare at other women when you are together

Hey! Control yourself. Most women will think you're comparing her to the woman you’re looking at. They don't understand men's half-truth that “the day I stop looking is the day I die.”

This lack of understanding comes from women's biological desire for monogamy. Women seek a permanent partnership with a guy she can raise children with. It's in their nature. That’s how they're designed. So minimize ogling, especially when she’s right there to see your performance.

• Make her laugh

Women want a guy who has a sense of humor. They place that trait high on their list of most favorable attributes; more favorable than men place good looks in a woman. So, keep her laughing if you want your relationship to last.

• Seek common interests

This bit of advice on relationships will help you keep things solid by participating in the same hobby. However, it's even more effective and important when you take an interest in her long-standing passion. Perhaps this means you must develop an appreciation for a certain kind of music. Well, so it goes. Your interest will show that you care about her and she’ll know you're the one for her.

• Stay well groomed and attractive

Just because you get the girl of your dreams, doesn't mean you can drop your guard and let yourself go -- especially when it comes to personal grooming. Even though women are less sensitive to looks than are men, they still like a man who cares about his looks. This means you'll shave on weekends and stay up-to-date on men's fashions. Don’t let yourself go and get sloppy just because you won the race. You could lose her by neglecting yourself.

• Get along with her family and friends

Your partner must know she can bring you into her circle of family and friends. You must fit into her larger life, especially after the initial flare of passion has mellowed to a warm glow. Learn to mix and mingle with her girlfriends and positively impress her parents. Women rely on their social networks to validate their choices for a relationship. Make an effort to fit in and get along.

Always respect her feelings

Always assume a woman is more sensitive than you are; act accordingly and respect her sensitivity. By respecting her sensitive moods, you'll stay on her good side.

• Remain open to trying new things

A final piece of advice on relationships is to be receptive to trying new things. When a relationship starts, everything is new and different -- from the different types of foods you enjoy to the way you kiss. But, eventually, such things become familiar.

Build Trust in a Relationship -- Take These Seven Vital Steps

Here are seven direct and effective steps you can take to build trust in a relationship

• Be predictable

Predictability scores more points in a relationship than variety. This contradicts the common idea that "stirring things up" will keep your romance alive. Sure, having dinner at a new restaurant or showing up with a surprise gift are positive gestures. But, most of all, partners seek consistency and steadiness in their relationships in order to make them work. Partners build trust in their relationship by maintaining consistency in their reliability and predictability from day to day.

• Make sure your words always match your message

Your partner must hear words that correspond to your gestures, body language and overall demeanor. By saying you're happy while wearing a scowl and standing rigid with your arms crossed tightly sends mixed messages. Your partner may hear your words, but he/she will deduce your meaning from the look on your face and the regrettable tone of your voice. Your partner must believe what you are saying. When your words match your physical message, you're building trust in a relationship.

• Believe in your partner's competency

Without belief in a person's competency, you can't establish the necessary trust in a relationship. When you express doubt in your partner's competence in areas important to him/her, you damage that trust. When communicated with heart and soul, truth is never destructive.

• Don’t keep secrets

Secrets will destroy trust in a relationship. Be honest and open. Assume all secrets will eventually be revealed. Keeping secrets requires you to expend a huge amount of energy that could go into building your relationship.

• Don't hesitate to express your needs

Don’t make your partner have to guess what you need and want. Your needs are important, but they shouldn't make you selfish. If you are reluctant to express and ask for your own needs to be fulfilled, you may swing completely in the opposite direction and wind up suffocating your partner.

• Learn to say no

It is desirable when your partner freely expresses his/her needs. But you needn't say yes to everything. It is difficult for an individual to respect a partner who never says no. Refusing to be dominated by another person’s will is a necessary step to build trust in a relationship.

• Constantly seek growth in your relationship

Planting and cultivating the seeds of your relationship can be demanding, difficult and even painful at times. But through these efforts you enrich and prepare your relationship for future growth. Don’t let turmoil, crises or questions frighten you. Together they create the fertilizer for growth and change. Accept and manage difficulties that arise.

After deciding to enhance the trust in a relationship, you're sure to encounter some pain. But managing this pain will make you a stronger individual and will strengthen your relationship.

Five Ways to Get Back at Your Ex That Will Also Help You to Get Your Ex Back

Many personal relationships are based on fragile bonds that couples must strengthen and maintain if their connection is to remain healthy and flourish. Unfortunately, couples do break up, and unhappy separations can cause stress, remorse and frustration.

After suffering through a broken relationship, it is natural that you would be extremely upset and consider ways to get back at your ex. But, really, is this the best step you can take to ultimately get your ex back and the best attitude to hold inside?

The most effective steps you can take to get back at your ex will not only put your former partner in an interesting quandary, but they will also move you toward repairing your relationship. It will show your ex how important you are and were to them.

These five key steps will not only enable you to get back at your ex, they'll also help you to get your ex back.

• Remain strong. No one wants a needy, desperate person hanging on -- particularly during a broken relationship. Do not beg, cling or come across like a distressed individual. Your ex should see you as someone who has moved on and is doing fine and remaining strong without them. Move on and make your ex realize they have not.

• Close off communication. Ending communication or cutting it down to the minimum may not seem the best tactic, especially when your real desire is to rekindle your relationship. However, it is a vital step when getting back at your ex and getting your ex back. Step away from your ex and minimize communication. Let your former partner swing in the wind for a bit without any contact from you. This isolation will enable your ex to see how important your relationship was to you both.

• Remain flexible. Refrain from making demands or pressuring your ex in any way. Don't set a date when they must move out or collect their belongings. Listen, sympathize and remain accommodating. Seeing this tolerant, receptive side of you will surprise your ex. The goal is to encourage them to strengthen lines of communication that didn't exist when you broke up.

• Get out and go out. You shouldn't be alone. Link up with friends and get busy. Rebuild or create a social life that includes a good amount of enjoyment and entertainment. You needn't date or even begin associating with the opposite sex. But you must mix it up and enjoy time with your friends. Getting out will serve as your therapy. Plus it will help to show your ex how much of a good relationship and a good person they've lost.

• Be yourself. You and your ex once had a very good reason to get together and form a loving relationship in the first place. Your goal should be to get back to being yourself. Give your ex a reason and a means to remember why they originally loved you and what they saw in you. By renewing your self image, you'll strengthen the positive perception others have of you. And this renewed, affirmative self image will reflect positively into your ex's eyes as well.
